Fourteen years ago Dr. Charles Heaton combined his passion for tennis and helping people by starting the Hope Open Tennis Tournament.

As the title sponsor, he gave generously of his time and finances to help a local non-profit charity, Living Alternatives who offer Hope and practical assistance to young women facing unplanned pregnancies.

Now in it’s 14th year, the Hope Open is one of the best tennis tournaments in the state of Texas. Tennis enthusiasts from across Texas take part in the tournaments highly competitive adult and junior levels events. This well-run tournament has all the perks that tournaments provide: great food, family activities throughout the weekend, fun games and competitive tennis all-in-one tournament.
